Nat Expo Tours
In February of 2018, I visited Cuba for the first time and was inspired to return the following year to lead photography tours. I had two groups that year, and returned in 2020 with another group. Later that year, as I was planning to expand my tour destinations to include Iceland, I teamed up with a good friend & photographer from Montana, Mike Haring, and we launched Nat Expo Tours. After pandemic travel restrictions began to ease, we led our first two tours of Iceland in the summer of 2021 and have returned every year since. We led our fifth tour of Iceland in June of 2024 and will be returning in June of 2026. We’ve also branched out to locations to include arctic Norway, Namibia & Botswana, and New Zealand. We’ve also resumed leading tours to Cuba and coming in 2025, we will be adding Nepal and Croatia to our schedule.
While we promote the trips as photography tours, not all of our guests bring professional camera gear. Some simply bring smart phones, and we welcome all those who are eager for adventure and fun to travel with. Regardless of your interest in or level of photography expertise, if you are ready to explore some of the most exotic and photogenic destinations our world has to offer, we are happy to guide you and always available for photographic instruction. We hope to see you on an adventure soon!

We have now led five Iceland tours and we look forward to returning in June of 2026, plus we’ve changed the timeframe and added new activities to the itinerary, including a horseback ride near Akureyri and a guided tour of a glacial ice cave near Vík! We will be driving the famed Ring Road around the majority of the country as well as ferrying to the Westman Islands and venturing to the charming east fjord town of Seydisfjordur, covering more than 1,000 miles in all. We have both spent significant time exploring Iceland and are ready to share our favorite destinations with you! Once the details and itinerary are worked out for the 2026 tour, we will post the link on our website and I will share it here. (Based on double occupancy/single supplement available upon request. Group size is 8 people per tour)
I have traveled to Cuba five times and perhaps spent more time in that country than any other destination. There is a reason why I am continually drawn back to this reclusive and often misunderstood nation. The people are welcoming, the streets are safe, and there are many natural wonders to explore outside the cities, not to mention the culture and Cuban fare. If you are interested in joining this cultural, educational experience in direct support of the Cuban people, please contact me to book directly: mail@colintyler.com
