On December 20, 2023, the Anchorage Daily News published a glowing review of my book “Seasons of the Nature Center” on their website. The following day it was in the print edition, with a preview on the front page. Click the image below to read the review on the ADN website. “Seasons of the Nature Center” books are available in my online store and at Alaskan retailers including Anchorage Barnes & Noble, Title Wave Books, the Anchorage Museum, Mosquito Books at the ANC international airport, The Writer's Block Bookstore & Cafe, and the Bookshelf in Eagle River.
In late 2021 I was contacted by a staff writer with American Essence Magazine to create a feature article about my photography and the life events that led to where I am today. The writer, Skylar Parker, did a wonderful job of accurately portraying my story and I was honored to have been chosen for this piece. The essay was published in January, 2022. You can view the PDF’s here or link to the article on their website: https://www.americanessence.com/from-ashes-to-beauty_2166.html
On November 10, 2021, I was a guest presenter via Zoom for the Alaska Wildlife Alliance’s “Wildlife Wednesday” program where I shared my images and experiences with Alaska’s only wild cat, the lynx. You can view the program on their YouTube channel by clicking below.
In February, 2021, I was a guest on KSKA’s “Hometown Alaska” with Kathleen McCoy. The subject was owls of Alaska and I shared my experiences of observing and photographing owls in Eagle River Valley.
